Task 6- Boiling it Down
In my game I am looking to have a female protagonist. Her kingdom is the eighth out of the lands that is home to the object of hope. This protagonist is the rightful heir to the throne of the kingdom (candy land theme) and was cast out of her kingdom by her pet weasel (will figure out the name later) who has overthrown the king and is now looking to kill the princess in order to secure his place on the throne. She then finds an old man who was once an adviser to the king but was banished thanks to the weasel. He then tells the princess that the only way for her to reclaim her throne is to travel throughout the seven kingdoms known as the Isles in order to collect the seven objects that will give her the powers to rule the Wastelands (the country) and therefore take back her kingdom from the weasel. She then sets on her journey to recover these 7 artifacts while fighting onslaughts of assassins and guards sent by the weasel and completing 7 different challenges demanded by the evil spirits possessing the objects. The game ends with a final boss battle as the protagonist discovers that the weasel has also taken the last object preventing the protagonist from achieving her goal. She then goes back to her homeland and fights the weasel in a "final boss battle" in which she uses her training and power of her six objects to battle the weasel who has the most powerful seventh object. These seven objects are set in locations that physically represent the seven deadly sins of man envy, sloth, gluttony, wrath, greed, pride and lust.
